Vlastta is a family business run by Bulgarian political reporter Iva Oprikova and her husband, a former member of parliament. Oprikova previously worked as a political and parliamentary reporter and editor in several leading Bulgaria media outlets.

Their two sons, IT specialists abroad, provide web design and support.
