Onderzoekscollectief Spit is an investigative journalism collective founded in 2019 by journalists Parcival Weijnen and Bram Logger, who used to work as investigative reporters for the publication Investico.

During their time as full-time journalists, they wanted more independence. The duo decided to start a cooperative composed of eight experienced investigative reporters: Hester den Boer, Kim van Keken, Dieuwertje Kuijpers, Bram Logger, Roos Menkhorst, Joost Ramaer, Catrien Spijkerman, and Parcival Weijnen. The cooperative aims to offer "independent journalism at a fair price for the freelancers involved".

The collective conducts investigative journalism stories locally and nationally across print, digital, radio, and TV media outlets.

Its investigations cover climate, sustainability, health and healthcare, the environment, and society. Some of the stories they have published are about fishing quotas, the media industry, the disappearance of general practitioners in small communities, secularisation, and the questionable side jobs of public administrators.

The cooperative earns its revenue through fundraising, donations, grants, and by selling its work to other media outlets.
