The Mreža za istraživanje kriminala i korupcije - KRIK (in English: the Crime and Corruption Reporting Network) is a publication covering crime and corruption. It was founded in 2015 with the aim to improve Serbian investigative journalism and to contribute to "free, independent and impartial media as a basis for the development of a transparent and democratic society", according to the organisation's statute.
KRIK's in-depth investigative stories focus on revealing organised crime and corruption to help readers understand how these issues affect citizens' lives. It also has a database with documents on indictments and judgments against Serbian politicians and companies, papers on the assets of politicians and documents on judges, their decisions and assets, among others.
KRIK is a member of the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN), the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), and the Asocijacija onlajn medija (In English: Association of Online Media).
The journalists of KRIK have received numerous awards and recognitions for their investigations, including an award from the Nezavisno udruženje novinara Srbije - NUNS (in English: the Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia) in 2016, from the International Centre for Journalists (ICFJ) in 2019 as well as from the European Union in 2021.
KRIK is funded through private and institutional donations and commercial revenues.
