The online platform Kallxo.com is a joint project of Internews Kosova, the Balkan Network of Investigative Journalism (BIRN), and the Anti-Corruption Agency.
The platform allows Kosovo's citizens to report corruption cases, organised crime, fraud, conflict of interest, and all other incidents of abuse of power and negligence endangering the rights of Kosovo citizens or jeopardising general interests.
Two of the founding organisations, Internews Kosova and BIRN, are leading organisations in investigative journalism, television, and online production in Kosovo.
Kallxo.com covers politics, the economy, law and crime, and human rights. According to the deputy director and senior project manager Albulena Sadiku, the team specialises in in-depth research, financial analysis, monitoring and reporting on the spending of public money, access to public documents, judiciary, prosecution, elections monitoring, and fact-checking.
Its team comprises more than 70 people who work in different departments, including content production, fact-checking, monitoring of courts and prosecutor's offices, and the process of declaration of assets by state officials.
Kallxo.com is supported by donors such as: the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Austrian Development Agency, the Balkan Trust for Democracy, the British Embassy Kosovo, Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI), the Danish International Development Agency, the European Union Office in Kosovo, the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS), the Kosovo Civil Society Foundation, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.
