The media outlet publishes news related to key institutions including the Council of Europe, the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) and the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). It also covers the process of establishing a sustainable democracy in Ukraine.
The publication is financed with the support of international donors (provided that they do not interfere in the editorial policy) and through advertising. EuroPravda has received financial support from the European Endowment for Democracy, the International Renaissance Foundation, the Council of Europe, NATO Public Diplomacy Division (PDD), the European Union, and the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2018, the outlet's key co-donor was the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
EuroPravda maintains editorial independence and a complete absence of censorship. Without sustaining these aspects, the initiative would stop, the newsroom states in its editorial principles.
The publication is hosted on the website of Ukrainska Pravda, which has been a strategic partner since the media outlet launched.
EuroPravda is published by a small team of journalists. The co-founders and editors of the site are Serhiy Sydorenko and Yuriy Panchenko. They previously worked for the newspaper Kommersant-Ukraine, covering the political and economic integration of Ukraine, and the EU, respectively, until mid-March 2014.
EuroPravda's coverage of European issues is only possible through the involvement of experts and representatives of think tanks that analyse the trends of Ukraine's European integration.
Since the Russian invasion in February 2022, EuroPravda has added a column called War with RF.
