Blagoevgrad-News is a regional media outlet based in Blagoevgrad, in southwestern Bulgaria (close to the Greek and North-Macedonian borders), covering the Blagoevgrad province.

The media organisation is supported by two legal structures: the non-profit organisation Association of Free Media, which supports independent investigative journalism, and the company Blagoevgrad News EOOD. Both organisations are registered and managed by local and national investigative journalist Marieta Dimitrova.

The NGO was registered after the company in order to enable grants and project financing. Blagoevgrad-News is financed by the America for Bulgaria Foundation and other international foundations.
