Bernardinai.lt is a news source focused on culture and religion, which also covers Lithuanian daily affairs.

Bernardinai.lt was once among Lithuania's top five news sources, but narrowed its focus and is now supported primarily through funding coming from its readers. The periodic support of loyal readers is the main source of financing, and the team collects individual donations across multiple tools and platforms.

Bernardinai.lt's mission is to publish relevant, hopeful, and lasting information with a Christian worldview. However, the organisation's news desk is editorially independent and produces original journalistic work.

The news site was launched in 2004 by the Monastery of St Francis and St Bernard in Vilnius. The Franciscan brothers returned to the Franciscan Church of Assisi (Bernardinų) ruins in 1994 and officially restored St Francis and St Bernardino Monastery and the historical St Francis of Assisi Parish in 2001.
